I got a call from this number yesterday evening. Since its the area code from my mom, I was worried. I called back but the mailbox was too full. I'm going to have my phone company block this number.
These unwanted calls are extremely annoying. It seems to come in cycles. Nothing for 6 months or so and then several weeks of random calls from different numbers like this one. I refuse to answer numbers I don't recognize. I never give out my cell to websites, applications, etc. so I don't know where they get their lists from.
got the call today. i called my phone company and requested the number to be blocked. however i remembered similar phone call on 2/16/2012 from the phone # 206-462-1797. It appears to be the same scam but they changed the phone number. beware.
