Recording saying IRS is going to sue me and to call this number. I called and what is scary they knew my name and address, but the stupid [***] woman could not pronounce "Virginia"!! How do you get them to stop?? They have called us 5 times just today.
This is the caller id number left on my phone by a robo call claiming to be IRS. I called the number and got a thick-accented person who could barely say "Internal Revenue Service." when I asked where he was located, he said, "In your mother's [***]."
Got the same phone call two times so far today. Did not call the number back. Didn't believe it for a second as anytime anyone is going to sue someone, they will send something in writing rather than just alerting you by the phone.
Just received a call from 206-317-1783, didn't answer. Left a voice message and the message was cut off so I called it. Woman with a thick accent answered "thank you for calling the internal revenue service, how may I help you", I hung up the phone and blocked the number. They've done this with several different after I block them. I contacted my local sheriff and commonwealth attorneys office and they confirmed it is a scam. I'd like to throat punch these sob's.
They claim the IRS is suing me and they were going to send the police to my house. They are calling from Bainbridge, WA. The man became upset when I said send the police. This is a scam!
