Fred Green is a scam artist. He will send you a fake check for an over amount and request you to send the difference back to the buyer. Most likely he is out of the US, but the local police and FBI have been notified. BEWARE OF THIS SCAM!!!!!!
Claimed to be a boat broker with a buyer for my boat. Wanted to do a deal quickly do to the fact that his client was leaving the country but needed to have the boat for his son's birthday present. Everything sounded "fishy". I eventually responded that the boat was no longer for sale.

Received an offer for my boat. Asking price plus additional dollars for transport. Says his client wants to buy it as a wedding gift for his son and wants to send me a check. Smells fishy. Did not give out any information.
