Officer Steve Smith that there was a warrant for my arrest and that I needed to call back as soon as possible or they would forward the arrest warrant to my local police department and he was from international revenue warrant. I called back. It ring continuesly then straight dail tone.
I had the same experience as the other people listed below.. The computerized sounding voice mail message says there are serious charges pending against you and to avoid their having to turn your file over to a local police department and to avoid arrest you should call Steve Smith from the Investigation Department of the IRS at 206-336-3495 right away and to have a blessed day.
Same thing..if you have looked for home rentals or buy homes on craigslist..this MIGHT be how they get your number from their excessive home scam ads..I don't know but this is creepy as can be..can this be real..my taxes are paid except one years ago when I had to stop a job as in a serious car accident so this is danf scary..are you sure its a scam?
Officer Steve Smith with IRS Investigative team had a warrant for my arrest. please call number. I called back, Office Smith asked if I owed back taxes, I told him no. He said are you sure because he had an arrest warrant for back taxes owed. I told him to have it served and I would take care of it, he hung up.
