The fraud check system for most banks has a lowest threshold of $10. I noticed a charge from this website and reported. My bank gave a refund and issued me a new debit card. Be on the lookout for charges under $10.
I just had a charge of $9.87 from newpetsonline.com on my debit card and never bought anything from them. My bank (PNC) promptly removed the charge and registered a 'protest' on this charge. Scary that people out there do this kind of stuff! Think how many people don't catch these small charges.
I have a charge on my card for $9.84 reported Sunday 9/19. I don't have a card for this account anymore, but I was told that you shouldn't close out accounts that are in excellent standing... I guess I have to now.
Had a charge to my account for 9.90 on 9/18/10 from www.newpstsonline.com. Have reported to bank
fraud unit (Wachovia) and to Better Business Bureau. No one has any success locating at this time except that area 206 is in Seattle area.
