Certain information is public record and they are using such tactics to scare people into forwarding payments and sending additional information to them. I have received threatening calls from this number regarding a payday loan I never had. When I asked for the name of the company, they gave me a name and number that don't exist.
I received a message on my answering machine.I could not understand most of what was said as the caller had a heavy Indian sounding accent. He said he worked for the police department and that I needed to contact them at this phone number regarding my grandson who is a college student in Seattle. My son-in-law called they number and they had my grandsons SS# and other personal information.
