As to why, they wanted to steal money from you to make a "lawsuit" go away, a nonexistent lawsuit since the IRS does not sue, and does not make phone calls.
They said they were the Internal Revenue Service and if I did not call them back I would be doing prison time and have huge fines to pay. I hung up on them, but still have concerns who and why they called.
