Watch out friends. Do not give any information to these people. Its scam. If it was IRS they would notify you by mail. I got the same phone call from 206 414-0223 today Sep. 10 around 11am. His name was also John Wright and said he has a warrant for me and if I don't give him money or information about my taxes he will send the police for my arrest. What an idiot. When I ask him ,before I give him any info. to give me his name and employee number, that first I need to verify everything he hung up on me. Looser.
Left me a message saying I had an arrest warrant out for me and that he was from the Crime Investigation Unit of the IRS on a Saturday (!) Totally some info fishing scheme. Guy is clearly calling from an Indian call center and had a thick accent but said his name was officer John White and wanted my name.
Report the Calls to the real IRS here:
•report the incident to the Treasury Inspector General for Tax Administration at 800-366-4484.
•You can also file a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission at FTC.gov. Add "IRS Telephone Scam" to the comments in your complaint.

Do consider maybe getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $60.00 or so.
Left me the same message, he called again and I picked up, and he also tried to tell me that there was a warrant for my arrest. I told him that it was absolutely not true, and he hung up on me.
