This number keeps calling my work constantly. They will call and hangup and call right back. His name is Edward Miller and has a foreign accent. He says I have commented a fraud with my social security number and wants to settle out of court or he will send this to court and I will lose my job. The last time he called 2 days ago I told him I knew about his scam and for him to quit calling me. He started calling back at my work this morning and the employees tell him I no longer work there. He says fine I will keep calling. I am reporting this to my boss and hopefully we can get the call blocked. I am also going to contact US Marshals service in Washington state where the number is from. I don't know what else to do and this is very stressful on myself and all my employees. Anyone have any other suggestions that have helped or worked?
Got a message from a Frank Moore supposedly from a law firm saying there was a pending lawsuit against me. I didn't fall for it. I know it's a scam. Been there done that before.
This is a scam. They claim an investigation has been launched and that charges have been filed, saying that I received funds from a loan that I never even took out and that I owed them money. They wanted to know what I was going to do to pay back the money. I got very angry and told them I work for lawyers and I know they're full of crap and hung up!! Block calls from these people!!
On 6-25-14 I received a call from this number (multiple calls actually) he claimed I owed money for a loan- that I have no clue about. I told him that if this were a legitimate issue then he would send me written validation, as I was not aware of anything he was talking and that it sounded very much like a scam. He proceeded to start screaming at me and told me that he was going to continue calling me AT WORK until I cried and got fired. I, of course went to management- and let them know what was going on- unfortunately our phones can't block numbers. He proceeded to call non stop for 30 mins- he even cursed at our receptionist and sexually explicit things. The receptionist informed him that she was contacting the police. I have looked this number up online and there are many complaints
I have been fighting this for awhile! He told me his name was Ed Miller and had a definite foreign accent. He has been threatening me telling me I was going to jail for money I owed but would not give me any information. He was harassing me calling me on my cell to the point I had to change my number he continued to call me at work and I had sent him to my HR department. My daughter then called him as my power of attorney and he refused to give her any information and hung up on her. This is a scam please be cautious!
I know what you are saying is true. He called me at work yesterday and told our answering service that I needed to call him right away that my father had died and he needed to get in contact with me. My father passed away 13 yrs ago, but what a horrible thing to tell someone. He called me again today at work and start yelling at me when I told him to stop calling me at work and he said he would call me and call me and call me because I had done a crime. I will not give him any information and I have told my staff at work if a Mr. Miller or Mr. Brown to not except their calls.
