We got a call from a man with a strong East Indian accent, claiming to be from the IRS Crime Investigations Unit; never mentioned our names. Said IRS had "arrest warrants" against us and that "our property was being monitored". We called his callback number, and he was claiming to be "Mark Watson" from the "IRS", and to leave message. He was not available to take the call. We suspect this a scam of some kind, and would like to find out all about this man and his tricks. Thank you.
This is a phony scam, where the guy (some foreigner from India or somewhere) claims that he's calling from the IRS and wants you to pay for some discrepancy and he threatens you with arrest.
Please tell him that have reported him to the Attorney General and that they are looking for him.
