Who called from 2064144238

Called the house phone claiming to be an IRS agent and that there is an arrest warrant out due to unpaid taxes.  When confronted them about being a fraud, they offered this phone number as the call back and it is located in "Washington New York".  State attorney's office says this fraud is a way to get people's identification information.

I got a message from this same number, running the same scam. Claimed there was a warrant out for my arrest for not paying nearly 1K in taxes. Was emailed some documentation that looked questionable from a .usa email (not .gov). Told them I'd call the IRS directly to straighten it out and they said the police would come arrest me. I hung up and received two calls that appeared to be from an emergency number. The scammers know how to change caller IDs to look legit, so be careful. I forwarded the email to [email protected].

Same number called me knowing my name claiming he's a senior investigation officer from IRS and I owe taxes over $900 and had to make an immediate full payment or an arrest warrant will be sent out under my name. He gave me a name, badge number, employee ID and an address so I can believe him. It seemed fishy since I had to make the full payment right away and even though I told him I didn't have the money.

same as above.  u think they would get the message from somebody. cant believe no one can shut them down look what the age of the telephone company can't do or wont do   shame on them ?????!!!!!!!!
