I just got the IRS Scam Recording. I called back and some lady picked up. She hung up on me after she noticed the frustration in my voice. They are searching for vulnerable prey (i.e an old lady that unfortunately doesn't know any better)
I received a call from this number and saved the voice mail. It is a computer-generated voice and it said "This message is to notify you that the Internal Revenue Service has issued arrest warrants against you. Right now you and your physical property is under investigation and it's very important that I do hear back from you as quickly as possible before we proceed further in any legal prosecution. My direct call back number is area code 206 414 4368..." I sure hope no one actually calls them back and gives them money.
OOOO...I am so scared that the IRS is coming after me. Seriously, when will these characters learn that we are not falling for this scam. Their new robo-call machine is very choppy and I am sure the call back number they left will go to some foreign country and get people for international call charges. If the IRS wants money from me, they will show up on my doorstep. Once again I will be reminding people via social media to beware of this scam.
Receding another call from the IRS, I will be arrested and all properties siezed. Please...if that were true I'll wait for the knock on door and then even investigate that.
