This texter, claiming to be Kelvin Jones (
[email protected]) contacted me about a boat for sale on recycler.com (wheel deals). Wanted to know what my lowest price would be. The next day, here are the transcripts of his email responses:

PayPal account that is attached to my bank account as it is the only
secure form of payment that I have access to right now. So,kindly get
back to me with your FULL NAME,PAYPAL EMAIL ADDRESS,PHONE NUMBER so
that I can initiate the payment immediately.If you don't have a paypal
account, it is absolutely free to set one up, kindly visit
www.paypal.com. A shipper will be hired that will come for the pick up
upon the completion of the payment aspect of the transaction.Let me
have the requested details to proceed with the payment if we have a

He follows up with this:
Hello,
I have been trying to sort out issues with my mover regarding the pick
up. I have received an email from them earlier and I want to seek your
consent regarding the situation before I make the payment.They have
demanded to be paid upfront via western union in order to be able to
schedule a pick up time. I prefer paying them via PayPal but they made
me to understand that they now receive customers' funds via Western
Union only. I would have personally taken care of that but right now I
can't access a western union location as I am currently on duty in a
remote area.
I will need to work out things with you to have this problem fixed. I
will be adding $1,500 to the payment I will send to you via PayPal.
After I have made the payments and it has been confirmed by PayPal, I
will need you to help me send the $1,300( mover's charges) to my mover
via western union money transfer. The surplus $200 is to take care of
the western union charges and your running around.
I believe I can count on you to have the excess funds sent to my mover
if I include it in the payment that I will be making. Let me know ASAP
if I can trust you to have this done for me, then I will proceed with
the payment as soon as I get the confirmation from you and i will like
to have your mobile number as-well. Waiting to read back from you
soon.

I then received two emails from what appear to be PayPal. They had $1,100 more added for shipping fees, etc. But, the PayPal account was being held until I verified the Western Union payment. I quickly checked my PayPal account online and there was no deposit, which means this was bogus.
Watch out for this fool.
