Caller wanted to verify my address to send me rebates for my phone bill.
I asked him who he was. He said he was with Biz team. I asked him if he was with AT&T. He said no but wanted to send me rebates anyways, just wanted to verify my address. I told him i was not interested. He continued to talk. I just hung up on his [***]! I hope he calls again so I can curse him out!
Called me at 9:30 am. i was half asleep so I gave them my name and address :/ I feel so dumb now, I hope I didn't cause major damage. Then I checked out their website at the better business bureau and it says fax company... nice.
Found this company (Bizteam LLC) was charging one of my corporate accounts $49.95 for five months during a routine yearly audit. I called their phone number of 877-257-2455 and complained. They had charged me for 5 seperate billing cycles and was only going to credit me for 2. I told them my next call was to the FCC if I was not issued the entire credit of everything they had charged me. After a conference with her supervisor her tune changed and she agreeded to refund all monies.
