SCAM ALERT – LIBORGDOTCOM – If You Get A Call
July 28, 2010 by MK Buzz
After some relatively easy google searches I found that this organization has roots in the Progressive movement that we hear so much of today. They advocate prosecuting practically the entire Bush Administration for the War in Irag and Afganistan as well as a host of other extreme, left leaning political ideals and social issues. I would suggest you do your own investigation and not take only my word.
Received a call from 206-445-6562, call id LIBORGDOTCOM. They wanted me to confirm the rental of "my" time share for $3600. I called the number they left on my machine, 719-313-5911. They were unable to say how they had my number or what property they claimed I owned. The woman said she worked for a company named Global. I asked to speak with a supervisor, yet none were available.
I had a missed call from this number, so I called them back because I figured it was a junk call and wanted to see how they had my number. I got "Thank you for calling back. If you would like to be removed from our preferred marketing list...press 1." No other options to speak to anyone.
We got what must be a similar message to that gotten by AC Mom. It was a poor connection but we could make out timeshare and $3600. We don't own a timeshare and have in the last few weeks been getting calls about timeshares frequently. We are on the don't call list, as if that matters to these people. We are going to be saving all these voice mails. Ours come in to our e-mail.
