Fake IRS. First call was a chick. I asked her to take my number off the call list. She hung up. Second call was a dude. I asked again, politely to please take my number off the call list. The response I received was "I'm going to [***] you right away." I wasn't sure I caught it so I asked what he said and got the same response. When I stated that if he tried I would shoot him in the forehead, he responded in Arabic.
Left message he was Officer Daniel Cruz from the IRS & I needed to return the call or I would be arrested. Ended the call by telling me to have a "blessed day"
We just received the same call, but he left the name Daniel Koontz. Here's a transcript, for fun. "This is Officer Daniel Koontz from the Internal Revenue Service. The nature and purpose of this phone call is just to inform you that there is a legal case filing against you by the IRS in regards to a tax evasion. So before we file a case against you in the court house, and before you get arrested, kindly call us back on our call-back number. The number to reach me that is 206-451-8162. I repeat, it's 2..." then the message cut off before I could be wished a blessed day, unfortunately.
Received a voicemail from Daniel Cruz with the IRS instructing me to call back and that if I don't call him back, I'll be arrested. I know this is a scam, but it needs to stop.
