got a call, left a message claiming to be the IRS, called them back, they answered IRS....IRS answers the phone with a long and drawn out id number of who the caller is....once I gave them my name, the hung up. SCAM
received a call and voicemail from this number claiming to be the IRS, I called back and they also answered IRS. When I told the guy that if there was any issue with IRS, they would send me a written notice over mail and never a phone call. he hung up. I called back again, and I asked the guy for the complete spelling of his name and his employee number and that I was going to report him once I called the IRS to verify if he was realty an employee, he got very defensive, I told him IRS never answers the phone, they have a recording and it takes too long to ever get someone on the phone. he again hang up. SCAM - PLEASE REPORT IF YOU CAN.
Received pre-recorded call from this number claiming to be the IRS. They said it was a final notice that they will be filing a lawsuit against me. SCAM.
