They called me twice today!!! An officer Martin Phillips. Telling me that I committed fraud on my taxes and said they would have a warrant out for me today if I didn't pay $2,840.00 today. I was terrified. I've never done anything wrong.
Received multiple calls from this phone number. Left several automated voicemails, so I called them out of frustration. They claimed that they were calling from the IRS and there was a warrant out for my arrest. He said he was Corporal Something or Other, but I couldn't understand the name through his accent. After I politely told him that I would be disconnecting due to this not being a legitimate call, he said "Okay, [***]" and hung up. Reported the number to the FCC and Do Not Call registry. Sounds like the number is down now?
