I keep getting a call from the same number. (206) 452-3651. When I answer they hang up and when I call back they ask if I want a loan. I tell them no and they interrupt me and hang up. It has to be a scam. How do they get our number?
BIG TIME SCAM!! Been going on since 2003!!
Here is a list of the numbers that called me ALL today. 3238018221 2064523951 9096664425 4637934963 4016487436 8889801520 3637760986 5396398375 3388829854 4842059603 8943875769 2142831316 6782514584 8558315474 4636379349 5208512723 2202498966 2372977002 8852024989 2826899453
I've been keeping a log since 2010 of these #'s.
NEVER followed through with filling out any banking info on a website loan app. Thank goodness.
I never answer the phone when these jerks call . . thank God for caller ID. They'll stop for about 6 months and it all starts up again. They'll leave a random message on my voice mail.
What's really funny is that for one week it's "you qualified for a loan with us, congratulations." Then the very next week it's "you owe money on a payday loan, and we're coming to arrest you." REALLY???? It's all the same scammers trying to get you to send them $$'s.

The Internet Crime Complaint Center has received many complaints from victims of payday loan telephone collection scams.
Callers claim the victim is delinquent in a payday loan and must repay the loan to avoid legal consequences.
The callers purport to be representatives of the FBI, Federal Legislative Department, various law firms, or other
legitimate-sounding agencies. They claim to be collecting debts for companies such as United Cash Advance, U.S.
Cash Advance, U.S. Cash Net, and other Internet check-cashing services.
According to complaints received from the public, the callers have accurate data about victims,
including Social Security numbers, dates of birth, addresses, employer information, bank account numbers,
and the names and telephone numbers of relatives and friends. How the fraudsters obtained the personal information varies,
but in some cases victims have reported they completed online applications for other loans or credit cards before the
calls started.
The fraudsters relentlessly call the victim’s home, cell phone, and place of employment. They refuse to provide any
details about the alleged payday loans and become abusive when questioned. The callers have threatened victims with
legal actions, arrests, and, in some cases, physical violence if they do not pay. In many cases, the callers harass
victims’ relatives, friends, and employers.

In regard to the comment left by Robert Hartung...Your attempt to deceive is transparent. .....as is your attempt to write a letter with any intelligence. .You just keep going to the Mosque every day and keep fearing God...When your number comes up I can guarantee you that there won't be any virgins waiting where you're going. ....Have a pleasant day.
