Received a call at 8:27 PM 7/29/15 from 206-455-6202. Caller ID "BREAS CANCER AM". they also called at 7:44 PM 7/26/15 and 7:32 PM 7/23. I do not answer calls I don't know who it is and I blocked this number from these scums. Anyway, I hate technology and I'm not on Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn or any other foolishness. I don't have a smart phone, laptop, tablet or any other gizmo other than a plain flip phone and a desktop with Windows 7 and I refuse to upgrade to Windows 10. However, I must say the greatest technological invention since the telephone is Caller ID and the ability to block phone numbers of derelicts.
So far, in the last two days, I've had about 12 phone calls. They are getting really testy saying I had given money to the Breast Cancer of America for the last couple of years. They are lying. I know where my money for breast cancer is going and it isn't them. Farce/scam
Just got a call from "GE Dealer". Typically I don't answer calls I don't recognize, but we are doing a kitchen remodel and I thought perhaps it was related (duh- I should've known better- we aren't even using GE appliances!). She asked for my husband and when I asked who was calling there was silence followed by "oh, what? I can talk to you." then she started talking right over me asking to be taken off the list before I hung up on her- I did hear the words "professional fund raiser" and "breast cancer".
As someone who is going thru chemo for breat cancer right now I find these kind of calls really offensive. I believe this is a scammer phone call and I don't pick up on any phone calls asking for money as very little goes towards any research or charity, it all goes to pay the wages of the telemarketers. Same for door to door salesmen...if they have to resort to "cold calls" they're not someone I care to do business with.
