Ok - folks - here we go again. How do these people keep getting our phone numbers if we are on the do not call list? do we not have anything private anymore. Received phone call on my cell phone at 10:49am. I was sleeping because I am having surgery tomorrow and was trying to rest. Upon me waking up I listened to the message and it stated the following: This is Officer Butler calling from the US Embassy Crime and Legal Division in the Washington headquarters (may i state that the man was very hard to understand and sounded like a foreigner at best - u know the ones im talking about that cant even pronounce an American person's name correctly). He continued to state the last four digits of my social security number and stated that there was severe legal action that was going to be taken agaisnt me (but didnt state or indicate why) and that if I didnt contact him back than he suggested that I get an attorney to contact him on my behalf. If i did not contact him or an attorney representing me - than he wishes me good luck on the event that will unfold upon me. "at the closing of the message he says have a nice day"!!! WTF - I dont understand - I have 17 saved messages on my cell phone from various different numbers and I am disgusted with it - they have ur personal information - where u work - where u live - ur birthdate, etc., etc. This is what we get for being Americans and this is what we get for having privacy Acts? Come on - there has to be a way to get these people. And believe u me - if i had the funds I would hire someone to track these people down so that I can pick and probe their brains to make them sweat and get angry for having their personal information and then throw their butts in the slammer for LIFE and show them what true American justice is like.!!!!
