[email protected]) Just like the posts above we were selling a ski boat. We even had multiple buyers but this David, davey, or whatever his name is did almost the same exact thing to us. He wanted the boat so bad he said he'd guarantee funds to assure he was the sole purchaser. Hem at first wanted to use this FQW (free quick wire) service after we found out it cost an arm & leg we told him as our ad stated certified cashiers check, money order or cash only; well he ended up overnighting via UPS a business check, it was my instinct to verify funds and low and behold, the account was closed, the company name didn't exist and to top it all, he got our ad from caigslist so. calif. my husband tracked his IP to Washington state and this apparent business to someplace in Florida. BIG SCAM! I would encourage each of you to file a report w/your local police dept or if you're county, go to your sheriff. We reported him and the more reports, chances are he'll face some legal issues.
