got a call from this number on my cell phone. a man said "Stacy?" and i told him wrong number and immediately hung up. they called back several hours later, waking me up. i did not answer and they did not leave a message.
Doesn't anyone know how to have fun with these? I got a call from this (206-458-7283) too. I kept them on the line for about 15 minutes acting like I was anxious to help them out. The idea is to keep them on as long as possible, and irritate them, in my case, by acting cooperative, but confused and feeble minded. Nothing is more fun than annoying them to tears and getting THEM to hang up on YOU!
I just got a call from this number. I was talking to the lady. I think it might be a robocall. I interrupted her and asked if they had a website and there was a lot of silence and then it hung up.
lol Tom! I've been watching YouTube videos of folks doing that. I had my ringer off these folks called today No message. There seems to be a rash of these lately.
Not a smart idea, engaging the scammers. Playing their game by their rules on their turf you'll never win. At the very least you'll get more calls. Or they could "swat" (look up swatting) you. They also could start using your number as a spoofed number when they scam call other people. Wouldn't that be fun? Keep in mind that many of them are most likely overseas, they feel they have nothing to loose. Can you say the same thing? Just do not answer unknown calls and do not call them back.
