I figured it was a scam from the start, it called me yesterday and i just hung up. Today I listened though just to see what it was about and same thing. The guy knew all my info have me a code and this number to call. I didn't bother calling.
Just received a phone call from an unkonwn number to my cell phone. The lady stated that i was picked to receive a 7,000 free grant. She gave me a confirmation number along with phone number 206-462-5153 to call to receive the grant. I call the number given, another lady answered, i gave her the confirmation number, she tells me to hold on while she retrives my file. Then the phone hangs up... I call the number back and as i thought, it was busy...
They called me at least 4 times in the past two days. I ignored it the first time, thinking it was one of my friends, it's says "No Caller ID" when they called me again, I answered and they said the US Government wants to give me a 7000 grant and blah blah blah. Well I can't block the caller since they have it blocked, I have no clue what to do. He knew my name, and my address, asked if I was single or married, and my age. I'm creeped out.

Gave me a number to call back and a code to give. I immediately goggled the number and it brought me here. I figured it was a scam I'm just wondering how she got all my information. I didn't bother calling the number she gave me.
Same thing happened to me. Had a confirmation # and asked me to verify somethings. What brought a red flag was that they wanted me to buy a card called green dot money pack and in that card to add $200 to keep the minimum and with this card it was to register me for something I really didn't understand. I believe its a total SCAM! Same questions applied to me.
