I just got the same call from seems same person (female with strong accent). her number was 202-965-8899 and she said I was won the $7,000 and gave me a confirmation code GG11009. The she said I should call 206-472-6032 number to receive the money.. so I surf the internet found this site. I think its SCAM.. While I'm writting this she kept call me...
I've received a few calls bt hav been ignoring them. Answers this one & a man with an accent said he was from the IRS with a $7000 grant for me because I paid all my taxes & had a good record & was basically a good person so I was like ookayyy so what do I have to pay you to get this grant.... He says nothing..you have to talk to the officer over him to get the info & the grant...then he was talkibg about some more crap that was sounding suspect so I just hung up.
Hi. I got a call too Same line up. IRS some granted money etc. I bother them so much the got mad at me haha I'll say if you got some time cool them and make them miserable at least they don't have much time to scam other people.
He stated the same thing as everyone said. But what got me was that they had my address and telephone number. He said that all I had to do was answer the phone when the above number called and give them the approval number. Hmmmm it is a shame that this is being done to older people who really have no defense.
