Caller ID identified call from Seattle, WA. Didn't recognize phone no. so didn't answer. Make individual left VM msg stating he was a Federal investigator. Said he had detailed information and to call him to talk about my case today.
Received an automated sounding voice mail stating the IRS has issued a warrant for my arrest and that my physical address is under investigation. It also stated that I should call this man back to get the details of the federal investigation and that it was very important to hear from me and repeated the telephone number of 206-486-9137
Your ADDRESS is under investigation?! That's a new one. Usually they claim your SS # is under investigation. Rest assured, everyone, this is a scam. The IRS will not call you, they will contact you by US Mail. Ignore these calls, block the numbers if you can, and NEVER call them back.
