Received numerous calls from this number 206-487-3002. They are stating they need to speak to me immediately before I am arrested for tax fraud. I normally get a fast busy signal when I try to call the number back. If they answer, I'm going to tell them they can meet me at the local state police barracks to arrest me. We will see how well that goes over with them. I've got he address on hand to provide to them too. Call their bluff. If someone shows up, they can be arrested for phone fraud & harassment and false impersonation!
Caller threatened to have me arrested if did not pay debt, when confronted for details, they cussed and hung up. Would not give name of company nor their name.
The IRS will not call you. They send letters via US Mail. The IRS won't ask you to pay in i-Tunes cards. The IRS will not wish you "good luck as the situation unfolds". Trust yourself and your instincts - do not let a bully intimidate you by threats that are nothing but hot air (and bad breath). This is a SCAM.
Do not answer calls you don't know and never call them back.

NO, IRS won't initiate a call. If you call back someone answers immediately... you know is a scam because there is not one government office that you can call without going through a rotary message and at least 10 minutes of waiting.
I tried to play his game but I got frustrated of the stupidity. Although I must admit I was curious and that's why I called back a couple of times
