Inbound about noon on Saturday, 08Oct., to residence landline. No caller/person on the line when I picked up after merely two rings - dead connection. Caller ID said "Seattle WA". Scammer? Politics??
Called, automatically blocked as all the CID indicated was "Seattle, WA" - I imagine after the election I should go in my call blocker and unblock all the local stuff. Or just wait until someone I care about says their new phone number can't get through to me...
See if your call blocker allows you to whitelist numbers
You can put in the numbers of those you care about., so they can continue to call with no problem as long as they use their own phones.
Or get a phone system that contains a virtual receptionist, because most robodialers cannot get past one.
The call blocker handles the repetitive callers, while the virtual receptionist handles the new callers. The people you care about ? Give them passcodes that match the last three or four digits of their phone numbers.
