I got the same call 2 times today. It was an automated call leaving this phone number (206-494-0741) to call them back. Seems I owe back taxes from 2008. This is a scam and the local tv news station are reporting on this in their nightly news. The IRS will never call you and demand payment. IRS will work with the taxpayers to pay back their taxes. They will not not take any kind of payment over the phone and they will send you a statement first. Do not call this number back. IT IS A SCAM!
804-930-6474 & 206-494-0741 are scams - these people call from both of these numbers 12 times so far today since 8:30 am. They need to get a life and a real job ! ! ! ! !
I received a call from this number and a call from a Virginia number (that I already reported as a scam earlier today), all in one day. Both are threatening me with a law suit from the IRS. Really?? These are disgusting human beings with no morals or ethics that must love to prey on people. How very sad!!!
