I thought it was not legal to telemarket any longer if we signed "the list" - What's with Inspired Marketing of 206-494-9675. I called them - of course no answer - Prosecute this lowlife bottomfeeding excretia
This company calls with a local number, but the calls are quite obviously coming from overseas. The last was looking for someone who worked for another company at this location. The claimed that they were from the FBI, this person had committed a crime, and it was imperative that they obtain information. I told them I did not believe them, and that state law forbids giving out personal information about employees anyway. The caller began saying f**k, f**k, f**k, f**k, etc. I hung up. The person they were looking for has received several collections calls here for the past 4-5 years. It's amazing the lengths collectors will go to. Similar tactics have been tried regarding another past employee.
I reported this call to local law enforcement and the FBI. The FBI is aware of overseas firms using these tactics. The FBI also said that if they need information, they will issue a subpoena, not call. Beware of giving any information to such people. "Inspired Mktg" makes it clear that they do not respect the law.
I was contacted by a man via Match.com who said his name was Sean Davidson, the number displayed on the my phone was 206-494-9675 the name "INSPIRED Mktg appeared above it. This man lead me to believe he lived in Seattle Mukilteo and was doing business in the UK. We never meet as he had important deals to do in the Manchester UK. To cut alone story short he told me his daughter who was flying out from seattle arrived in the UK and they were both involved in an accident and that the Doctors in Florence Nightingale Hospital wanted money to treat her. Sean then proceeded to ask me to send $4000 dollars to help with hospital bills via Western Union. He had an African voice and bad phone connections. Other numbers he used where 425-329-3493, and a UK number 01144-703-598-6899. Dont fall victim to his pranks
