I'm in Kingston and have just gotten a call from them on my cell phone. No one would have this number except friends and family, so it was clearly sold to them by Rogers. Can't say I am surprised considering the track record of Rogers. Thank God I only have a few months left on my stupid contract with them.
They called me too.(toronto) Did anyone give their number out at the travel show? Thats the last place I gave mine out to for contests. (also got called from (503) 563-0372)
So... It seems to be targeted in Canada. At first I thought it was Bell Mobility customers only, but it looks like it's not limited to Bell. They have to be getting our numbers from somewhere... I got this call just now and the 503 area code one a few days ago. I'd switch my number but too much of a hassle.
I stand by my earlier comment: Phones need to catch up with emails and let us have filters. Like: I only get calls from the GTA and two area codes from the states. Those are the only ones I want coming to my phone.
