calls but no response when answered

every week 2 calls /week, nothing but silence sometimes followed by a Beep, then call is ended..
yeah it gets old. i've never gotten anything more than silence. so i don't know whether it's political or w/e.

I just now got this phone call and first thing I did, before anyone could possibly say hello, was push a few buttons on my phone and then hang up.

Have now resorted to blocking 16 of this robo called numbers from Political Opinions of America/Opinionology/IND SUR GROUP....all are the same crap. They are like flies, they keep coming back, swat one you will get another one at another time. Daily...This all started to happen in February of this year after we voted 4x for *The Voice* and *American Idol*, swear our number was sold. Also, we now are getting calls about the fraudulent Process Server/ PayDay Debt Loans, have now resorted to put a Fraud Alert on all credit report companies like the FBI refers people to do. I swear all because we voted for a TV Show.  This isn't a game anymore of a PRANK/TELEMARKETER call and who will ignore it.  I am taking this crap seriously, this is my life and will take legal action. This ring of whatever it is, is known about by the USA Goverment and FCC, please...you need to make a stop to it NOW...for good.

Just because it's a political year does not mean that people/organisations can ignore the Do Not Call List, IMVFO (in my very frustrated opinion).
