I called them back doing the same thing! LOL Called from a different number, fake name and they gave me the same spiel. Said it was a bag of coke. I called my local police and the REAL DEA who took a report and referred me to their website where they have a statement out about this scam.
I have received numerous calls from all over the US and Jamaica. There is a growing list of Senior US Citizens phone numbers which are being sold to anybody who wants them. They know that Senior People were raised in a different society, where NOBODY stole and very few lied, so they are more inclined to believe what they are being told. These Low Lying Scum Bucket people try to get Seniors to give them your personal information, or send $$$ to process your winnings, telling them they won a large sum of money. Then they STEAL you blind, and you never hear from them again. YES STEALING AND LIEING IS AN OCCUPATION today, and these people have zero morals...My suggestion is to screen your calls, and if it is a number that you do not know, DO NOT ANSWER. If you really want to get them to stop calling, just pick the phone up and hit the #### a dozen times and hang up. Or answer the phone with a grumpy voice and when they ask for you, just say wait I will get him/her, and put the phone down until you hear the dial tone. DO NOT CALL THEN BACK!!!!
