Yep, my mother in law got this robocall about a tax problem and threatening arrest as well just this morning. I tried calling back, but the number no longer seems to be ringing.
Scumbags. Hope no one actually falls for this crap.
SCAM!!!!!! They called me a few minutes ago too (& I could barely understand THEIR version of English). Since they DIDN'T use my name or ANY name, I knew immediately that it was a scam! My only regret was that it wasn't a real person that I could cuss out right away for wasting my time!
Just heard the cutoff message from the Robocall. Knew it had to be a scam. The only people that I know that threaten to send you to jail are the scummy collection agencies. IRS, they'll bury you in letters before you ever get to talk to anyone about your case much less having them call you to talk about it.
I received a call from same number,so I called back and a foreign man answered he hung up so I called back and said why did you hang up he said shut up and hung up again,so I waited and called back and told him I reported the number and get a [***] job looser he was irate I laughed and hung up on him lol .
