I receive numerous calls each day from this number, most of which go directly to phone mail. Twice I spoke to a person who said he was calling from a drug distribution company in WA, which I never heard of. He claimed he wanted to alert me that my pain meds and sudafed were being discontinued by the drug mfgr. I asked for a list of medications, none of which I've ever taken, including sudafed. When I questioned him, he hung up. This happened twice. I received another call today which went to phone mail. This time it was a woman'f voice on the recorder. This is ANNOYING!
Hey Mike do I know you from a forum? The clue would be my name. Anyway these "online pharmacy" guys are calling everyone. It's a total scam. It seems like a call center from India. Probably sharing a PBX type system here in the states to make it appear to originate from inside the USA. The problem is there isn't anything that can be done except get these numbers shut down one by one.
So file the complaint at the link above as the other commenter suggested.
I just got the same exact call. They told me that the FDA was discontuning Xanax, which I do take, I engaged in conversation to see what they said. I was surprised becuase it seemed that all I had to do was give them a cell # and a credit card and I could have this controlled substance mailed to me. What if this was a teenagers cell phone?? This shouldnt be happening. Ill stick to my DR! They did know mt name though??? strange
received 9 calls from this number on 7/27/10 - claim to be US Direct Pharmacy and that I had previously ordered medication thru them (I have not!). And they had my personal information. I said not interested and hung up. They called right back and I then blocked the call. 7 additional calls for the rest of the evening and now they are starting again today. I googled the company name and found some information that it is a scam and that they just want your credit card number.
These people keep calling... I have called the FCC, FTC and the attorney general office. they told me that if enough people call, they would do something about it, so everyone that is getting these calls, call these people and complain.. the more we complain, the more they will listen.. I am so sick of these people calling me, every 45 minutes and when i ask to speak to a supervisor, they hang up on me...
