i GOT A CALL FROM THIS NUMBER TELLING ME THERE GOING TO HAVE ME ARRESTED AND COME TO MY JOB. I TOLD HIM I HAVE MY LAWYER LOOKING INTO HIS COMPANY AND I WILL GIVE HIM A CALL BACK. HE SAID OK AND HUNG UP AND NEVER CALLED BACK.
i had similar call....I just tell him...send the arresting officer. I will sue you for defammation and harrasment...they will stop calling for awhile and then restart again...
This is a scam. Someone named Jonathan Williams (sounds Indian) from Vashon, WA kept calling our house for my daughter who doesn't live with us, sometimes 3 or more times in a row (we never picked up). The last message left said that a legal case had been opened against her name and social security number. She called him back via her cell phone (big mistake). He said she is being sued by a cash advance company. She has never taken a cash advance in her life. He wanted her to settle it right then. THIS IS A SCAM!!! We called the Federal Trade Commission and reported them. We were told that the fact that he doesn't state his company's name or how much money is in question is a big tip-off. You can tell him that he has to send proof of the debt via mail within 30 days. Better yet, get a loud whistle and blow it every time he calls. He'll stop calling. We're contacting the state attorney general's office today.
