Call from this number. I receive a grant from the Health & Human Services from the American Grants Dept. You have to purchase and Green Dot Money Card for 4.95 and load with $185.00. I think it is not legitimate.
A male with an East Indian accent said I had received a grant from the "US of government", but had to use green dot money pack to pick it up at the Western Union. He said it was to verify who I really was. I told him to send me a check, but they weren't sending checks anymore. Wanted me to pay $4.95 for the card and load it with $190.00, then he would release my $9,200.00 through Western Union. The more questions I asked the more frustrated he became. I asked him to verify who he was and he says that if I didn't want the money he would just call someone else. Told him I had to think about it. He said that the funds would expire in 24 hours. I said if they were for me how could they expire. He hung up.
