This recorded caller claims that they represent the IRS. The caller threatened that a debt is owed to the IRS and that I should call a specific number concerning the debt.
Received a message on my answering machine stating that they were the IRS, and that a debt is owed to the IRS and that a claim has been filed and to contact a 206-569-5801, when I tried calling I was unable to make the call.
Received a message from the IRS stating they were filing a suit against us and to call the number back. Obviously, if it was the IRS, there would be a case number and we would have received something in the mail.
SCAM - They left message stating it was a call from the IRS, internal revenue service and to call back immediately regarding an outstanding balance, or they were going to take action and file a law suit.
