I got a call from obviously the "same" Asian man today claiming that I would have a fraud case with ISR. When I told him that I´m retired and not paying income taxes I could not imagine to have a case - then he just hang up. what an idiot - obviously somebody can use/show the official number 0460 when calling "victims" - anybody out there with similar experiences. It has to stop
I received a call today from this number, asking for my daughter by her full name. The man identified himself as an FBI agent after I told him that I was her, and claimed that I (my daughter) was in serious legal trouble and needed to come to their office right away. This is the third time I have had a similar call, the first being from someone posing as an agent from the U.S. Attorneys office (and using their actual phone number) and another time posing as a sheriff from the King County Sheriff's department (also using their number.) the second time, I spoke with the man for a while and eventually got him to admit that he was a scammer. So, when this recent call came, I posed as my daughter, told him I knew he was a scammer and to not call me again.
I got the same call as above. Automated voice Left name of attorney Charles Green and to contact him at 206-973-7902. From the FBI internet crime prevention. SCAM
I received the same automated message above. I just got a call from 206-622-0460 claiming it was the FBI. Stated I should contact Charles Green at 206-973-7902.
Left a message stating a case file number and to contact immediately. Apparently they claim to be the FBI internet crimes division. The FBI doesn't call. They knock.
