I also recieved a call from this number and it was in my missed list. NO message was left and I was unablle to reach them when calling the number back. All I recieved was a busy tone and when it finally rang it said this call can not be completed as dial.
Received call on cell phone - woman stated I completed a shopping survey on 9/1/10 and now have received a $1000 shopping spree. I did not complete a survey and am registered on the "Do Not Call List" for home & cell phone. When I stated I did not complete a survey & questioned how the cell number was obtained the call was disconnected.
My husband received a phone call from this number asking for our elementary age son. When he told the caller he was his father he hung up on him. I don't know who is doing t his but they are now asking for children. I have tried to phone this number back many times and get nowhere, but this does NOT set well with us, since we too, are on the "do not call list" for all our phones.
Received calls at the same time for the past 3 days, finally caught it today, when I answered, they actually asked for my mother. When I told them that I was her daughter and that she wasn't available, they quickly said they'd try again and hung up. Busy signal when I tried to return the call.
Caller called back. Got a live person this time who said I won a $1,000 online shopping spree for being a preferred customer with onlinegift.com (never heard of it).. Tried to convince me to purchase 5 magazine subscriptions over the phone for $3.88 a week for 60 months. (Do the math: $3.88 x 52 weeks = 201.76 x 5 years = $1,008.80. Tries to convince you that $3.88 is a small amount of money since they're sending you a "free" $1000.00 gift card. I don't know how they get away with this. I sincerely hope people don't fall for it.
