The people calling from this number is best known from BCPF, located I expect around the Seattle, Wa area and is seeking funds dealing with Breast Cancer. I suggest you place this number on your block list or be prepared to get called many times durning the week that includes weekends.
I got this call today, and I always check here when I get calls I don't recognize. That they've been doing this for over 2 years now is rather disturbing. That they have not been asking for any money, donations, etc. but still do this, is even more disturbing, because I'm wondering if it's getting them whatever they are after.
Also, the Do Not Call list is for telemarketers only. These people, and many callers like it, are asking for donations, or not asking for anything at all (just hanging up) so the Do Not Call list doesn't apply. I'm thinking the FCC needs to expand the usage of that list. Maybe I'll stop getting political phone calls too!
They called me and hung up. The last time I got this many hang-up calls there was a burglary gang working the area. Perhaps "BCPF" really stands for Burglar Checking Phone Frequently?
