My husband, a couple of weeks ago, received several messages from a thick Indian accented woman, claiming my husband needed to call her back about a debt. I went on this website and took the advice of you and others, not to call back. Today, my husband received a call, from a different number, with a thick Indian accented man. He said he was going to police officers come to our house or his work and yank him out, if he didn't call him back. He recited the last 4 numbers of his SSN. I was wondering if you have had this continue to happen to you. The phone number is 508-499-7181. This is really beginning to bother my husband and myself. We checked the phone number on this site and it comes up no complaints. We filed a complaint. Let me know if this has happened to you, please.
I received a call today from 206-629-9401 from a man with a thick middle eastern accent said there was a lawsuit for my name and ssn#. He said that I owe froma payday loan taken out in Dec 2010, and that I needed to answer some questions. Of course I hung up.
they keep calling about a pending lawsuit against my name and ss number for an unpaid payday loan. I told them a week ago to send information to me via fax. They have not. They call many times and hang up. This is the second time they called at work - I told them not to and they hung up.
I received several calls from this number on my cell phone and then also a call at work. The man had a very thick middle eastern accent and I could barely understand him. He said papers were being filed in regards to a payday loan with US Cash Advance that I had not paid and my workplace would be notified of the pending legal action, I could loose my job, I could be arrested, and I would need to pay over $5000 when I go to court. He wanted my lawyers name and sounded surprised when I did not know anything about this legal action. He supposedly read an affidativ to me over the phone and became rude and told me not to interrupt him. What is scary is this guy had my social security number, my cell number, my work number and workplace name as well as my email address. I have reported this to the FTC and the credit bureaus.
These guys are F***ers. If you do receive a call like I did and are continuing to get. DO NOT give them the satisfaction of ruining your lives. cuss them out THREATEN them. If they can do this to us whats to say we have our hands tied to our backs. Furthermore, if we all did owe something to some loan company or debt collector we always get a notice BY MAIL.
