My son is attempting to sell an item on craigs and has recieved an email regarding item with this number. The deal requests my sons name, address phone numbers etc. There is someone on the other side of this as my son has made contact. I have instructed him to discontinue communcations so wont know how far this guy will go.
Tell your son to RUN! Just google the phone number and you will see this number is all over the internet on every site that reports scams! Report him to craig's list also. The next step he'll do is to tell you he is going to "over pay" and you can just send him the difference back. He will send a fraudulent check and your son will be out of whatever he's "reimbursed" the man... its an old trick! Not very "funny". Report him!!!
