My fiance and i keep getting calls and messages from this number, and it is a foreign guy saying his name is "jack russel" then he called again and said his name was "micheal" but it was the same person. He says hes from a company called "Bank of Associates" and that we had taken out a loan, over 1,000 and that we havent paid it. I explained that we didnt receive any loan, we applyed, and were denied for anything.
I told him that we needed official proof of this matter,so we can take it to a lawyer, because we didnt receive anything, and were not paying anything to anyone, and he refuses to send anything, he also stated that he was goining to forward his statment to the court office, and that my fiance would be arrested. A week ago we got a message from someone calling them-self a sheriff stating that , my fiance would be arrested on the hour, and no one showed up so we went down to the police station and the receptionist looked up his name for the whole state of NC and nothing showed. She said if he were to get arrested no one would call they would just show up, so we have reasons to believe this is a scammer. He wants us to send him money, without any proof of anything. He also has my fiances full name and last four digits of his social, and knew where he worked at the time, and knows what bank we use. He stated that my fiance would lose his job, and he would put a red flag on our credit. Im not sure what to do, but he keeps calling and when i try to explain we need proof , he hangs up.

Yes, the same [***] called my home number but he was mistaken. See my phone number is listed in the phone book with my last name and first initial. He called asking for someone with the same last name as me, and a name that started with the same first initial. He had the same story line as yours, and got really mad when I asked him if he was named after the dog Jack Russell...LOL. He told me that he would contact the police, but jokes on him I am a police officer. I told him that I was starting an investigation on him and his company, he then said " Fcuk You police dog" and hung up on me. Oh well, I will post more when I track him down.
