Is it possible to hear anything other than a ringing phone without any kind of answer, or even know what the caller might want without looking up the number? You don't answer the phone in any way, these crooks have to try their hand with another gullible receiver.
Called my cell phone. Said law enforcement action filed in my name and I must immediately call the officer in charge of my case at 206-687-9883. Also gave a case#.
Male caller with thick accent, spoke quickly, most unintelligible. Something about a problem with an account and to call a certain number, then hung up. Caller ID listed name as "Dwayne McGuire" though I doubt the real Mr. McGuire has anything to do with this. Call type: Scam
