I just got a call from these people telling me that I am getting a government grant and to go pick it up at Walmart. But first that want me to call 202 684 6332 for more instructions.
Called at 9:10 PM ET and said he was Singh with Windows Technical Support and he was calling to report a problem with my computer. He wanted to know what I was doing right now. I told him I would report his call and he again asked what I was doing right now. I told him that I was unfortunately wasting my time with him and hung up!
Not very nice... They called me back and insulted my whole family after I told them what I thought of them. Apparently they don't like to be called [***]!
Got a call from this no. after playing around with some scammers who called on a different no. wanting to help me with computer problems. Was on a long cross country trip so I went along pretending to hook them up to my laptop. Put on mute for a while then hung up and got return call from this no. Three or four hang ups with a different heavily accented dude on the other end. Wasted 20 minutes of their time having fun. Then needed to fuel up, so hung up in mid conversation and blocked the no. Screw them.
