Definitely a SCAM. I received a call stating that I can receive 9,200.00 in a government grant that I did not have to pay back. I was required to send them $200.00 security money. They hung up on me when I informed them that they are Scammers.
Word of advice - if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is...
They wanted my account # and routing # they do not mail checks. WTF I was born at night but not last night! whydn't the foreigners gtet a real job! [***]!
Claiming they where a government health department grant office located in dc. I provided them with 100 dollars to talk to what they say was the federal bank. Then they say I have to pay state and city tax which I paid 349.99 from green dot. Then they where saying I have to pay the irs to realse my grant which was 799.00 I stopped read in to it then realized I gave then 450 dollars total and they where asking for another 250 to cancel then they through a time limit on it. Which there was never a time limit for the 2 hrs until I start saying this is a scam. They literally was trying to push it to the limit. Ppl r broke and poor and have bills to give them some money u would think its a gift from God. No they don't care about ur life.

I asked them why do I have to pay if the government is giving me money. The first guy hung up but the girl she told me I would get the money back.
