I inquired about a property on Zillow in Las Vegas and a few minutes later got a call. Didn't answer the phone but later got a text message stating they would like for contact them about the house I inquired about. Deleted Text and Blocked number
Zillow and Trulia pull public information from tax records, etc. Just because the agent calls you does not mean they are the listing agent. Agents pay to advertise on these websites. They have no control over what is listed. This is not an agent issue. All the agents are doing is responding to someone who wants information. If you know a property isn't accurate, then why ask for information?
This is Zillow. If you inquire about a property they call and set you up with an agent to answer your questions. It's not a scam, this is just how it works. If you don't want to get information then don't request it. Simple as that..
