Same guy called me from different number, had an accent, said his name was Andrew Smith and I was under criminial investigation. Refused to name his company and continued to call my job for almost two hours. Called the police and they said is a scam.
Man with foreign accent called from this number saying to lower my credit card rate and when I told him to take me off his list I don't have a credit card he told me to [***] off. I am on the do not call list.
The person on the other end just hung up on me. Have also been getting calls asking if I had Bladder surgery- because IF it was not done right; I could get compensation- VERY strange calls last few weeks!
What you should do if you answer is tell them you are going to call your state AG and then call your AG. they have ways of finding these people and going after them. I didn't answer but if the keep calling I am.
