I got a call from this number an dont understand what it is.

This is a scam claiming to be IrS that states there's a lawsuit against you.  Confront them and they back down and hang up

Claimed to be from irs and claiming they had a lawsuit against my mother for not filing taxes and when I told them I was calling local irs they hung up on me

It's a SCAM! Claim to be IRS and they have a lawsuit against you. Do not give them any information.

EXTREMELY illegal SCAM,  identified himself as Bethlehem,  PA Sheriff,  Sgt. Richard Sullivan. Threaten me with 3 years jail and $75k fine for IRS accounting mistake from 2009-14.  In strong middle eastern accent.
